Ann Arbor Women Artists: Programs, Exhibits, Education

We provide multiple opportunities for active members to participate in both juried and non-juried exhibitions.

Juried exhibits are those in which members submit images of their work to a judge (juror), who then chooses which of the submissions will be accepted into the exhibit. Memberships must be up to date and exhibit for at least 30 days prior to the submission deadline.

There are usually three juried exhibits each year for our member participation. For a listing of current juried exhibit opportunities (including more detail about the requirements), check our Juried Exhibits page.

Non-juried exhibits are those in which members bring pieces of their artwork to one of our non-juried sites following a call to artists from the site coordinator. These exhibits are not juried, but some of the sites do have requirements with regards to the work that they’ll accept (ie, no nudity, no violent subject matter, etc). For a complete listing of our non-juried sites and their coordinators, check our Non-Juried Exhibits page.

Due to Covid-19 the Following Exhibits are Online:

Racial Dialogues Through Art: Reflections on the issues of our time.
